Born in  Dublin 1975    June/ Gemini

The first record I ever bought was Tears for Fears ”Songs from the big chair”. I bought it in Liverpool on Holiday with my Grandad Fred. One of my early heroes was Micheal Jackson and his silver glove..I started doing ”Moonwalk’s” on  a stage I built in my Granparents garden..I sang with a broken microphone I found which I stuck it on a broom handle….when I got interested in guitars, I then moved on to Chuck Berry’s ”Duckwalks ”. This was thanks to the movie  ”Back to the Future I, featuring Marty Mc Fly’s cover of Johnny Be Good. Then came the guitar…Everybody on my Dad’s side of the family played guitar or bass so there was always guitars, amps, wha wha’s and stuff lying about the house . The first chord I was shown was a ”D” major chord ,then I learnt “Sunday Bloody Sunday” by U2….. I got my first baby flying ”v” from my Dad for xmas when I was 12. Then I formed a band together with friends called ” The Movement” we did our first gig a few months later and broke up a few days later because the singer was too tall and had not got a note in his head (laughs). Later on we reformed and changed our name to “The Figment”  and played Doors ,Van Morrisions, Hendrix, Floyd and Zappa covers badly. I first started busking on Grafton street as a busker when I was 12 and from there that’s when my whole world grew…the rest is history Ladies and Germs………
